Here's a bunch of photos I recently scanned into a digital format. Some of them are quite embarassing, but they were taken in a time and a place, and they do tell the story well.

1970, soon after David's adoption. He was crying. "Who are these people?"	June 2, 1970. David's 3rd birthday.	1970. Careening around the hood, high on sugar-and-butter sandwiches. One of my fav photos.
Summer 1972. Turkey Run State Park, Indiana.	I found a bird, so David found a nest to put it in.	Sandbox behind our house on 7th Street.
April 1970. An unprompted kiss.	Kindergarten, last day of school party. I was really coveting his orange frisbee.	Vaya pareja! We were flower girl/ring bearer at our babysitter's wedding.
Yikes! Thanksgiving 1979(?) I swear it was David's idea.	Summer '80. Double yikes! Candy striper and Checker and St. Elizabeth Hospital.	My 16th birthday. Yum, angel food cake!
6510 Indian Meadow Lane. The garden, our primary chore.	Escuela Caribe 1985, 17 years old.	Xmas 1985. I was having as much fun decorating David as he was unwrapping his gifts.
Summer 1986. Our favorite fishing hole. Yes, we were hicks.	September 1986, returning empty-handed from the fishing hole. These photos were taken after our granma's funeral.	This was the last good picture taken of us together. He died the next summer.
