I wish I could be there to sip coffee and talk with you...I can relate to you about being neglected and never being good enough in the church or at home. I also had sexual abuse in my life that was too shameful to admit...but I have come a long ways in therapy and all...keep on keeping on...that is what they tell me...anyways, God Bless Karen
Julia......the whole time I was reading the book (it took only two days.......so good) I was hoping for a different ending. I wanted you to be promoted out of there and alert some kind of authorities about the abuse and come back to rescue the rest of the kids. How can that continue......now that you have written the truth ?? Where are your parents now ?? I hope they have repented !!
Thank you for a beautiful book, I truly loved it.
This book is one of the best books I have read. I enjoy reading about the struggles and the good times. It must have been hard growing up and dealing with the daily issues that you faced.
