An apology, and an announcement
I'd like to apologize to all the readers whose emails have gone unanswered over the past months. Although I have read each and every one of them, I haven't had time to respond in a timely fashion.
My excuse: pregnancy. I'm almost 8 months pregnant with a little girl (EDD: 9.2.06) and am trying to complete a draft of a novel before she makes her grand debut. This in addition to my regular freelancing gigs for the Times and CourtTV. It's been a struggle with pregnancy-related fatigue and discomforts setting in, and I'm trying to make as much progress as possible on the good days. This means less time time spent emailing.
I hope you understand. Above all, I want to reassure you that I love getting notes from readers and save each one in a special file on my computer. I also hope that I'll eventually have time/energy to write everyone back.
